As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who participated in the Read-A-Thon! Your support means so much to our school and students.

📊 Fundraising Update: So far, we raised a little over $6,800 - which is half of what we raised last year. To help us meet last year’s number, we’re extending the deadline for pledges to December 2nd! 📚 Reminder: If you attended Double Minutes Night, make sure to double only the the time spent at the library during 6:30–7:45 PM on Monday and update your reading sheet as needed before turning it in by Monday, November 25th.

🦅❤️ A huge thank you to the amazing Damascus community for the generosity at our Election Day Bake Sale! Together, we raised $1,689.61 for Woodfield PTA! 🎉

Special thanks to our incredible parent and SSL volunteers who baked delicious treats and stood by our table all day, sharing with voters and helping the PTA reach our goal. Today wasn’t just about baked goods; it was a lesson in democracy, a chance for our students to learn about community support, hone their sales skills, and connect with former Eagles and neighbors.

Join us on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 for National Walk and Roll to School Day! We encourage all students, families, and staff to walk or bike to school as a fun, healthy, and safe alternative to your usual commute.

The Woodfield staff will be meeting at Plantations Pool at 8:30 AM to walk to school together! Let’s kick off the day with a refreshing walk to celebrate this national event.
